A NEW DAWN

 

MISSION:

 

At RINCÓN DE PIEDRAS UNITED, we are a  Latin American,  non-profit organization (NPO), made up of the members of the international community, mainly Dominicans, hoisting and raising the flag of the true union, originating from Rincón de Piedras, one of the most beautiful places in our country. We have the unrelenting goal of starting a new dawn based on Friendship, support and fraternity from any corner of the world with our lovely population. We follow this goal in our headquarters in the United States, where we seek to promote, transform and reinforce development with positive changes in our homeland, providing incentives for training conditions and opportunities for our people, creating and participating in processes of development for the community and neighboring populations, strengthening spiritual, family-based, social and environmental values with the momentum of actions aimed at self-sufficient development which address various problems to enhance the quality of life in our country.

 

 

VIEW:

 

As Rincón de Piedras Unidos, we want to become an active, agile and innovative social organization whose main goal is not to produce people that are dependent on our organization, but to create conditions and opportunities so that our community produces independent, professional, successful people ; an organization that responds to challenges with pro-activity, developing cutting-edge projects in social, spiritual and cultural domains as well as in infrastructure to create the conditions of development for the population. We particularly emphasize the dedication, capacity and altruism of each one of our members, committed to the integral development of our community, and the respect for each inherent spiritual, cultural, family-based, social and environmental value of the population and the country.

 

 

 

STRATEGIC GOALS:

 

1. To provide training for all the members of the Rincón de Piedras community, marking the education of our children and young people as the flagship project through the development and construction of new schools and a Community Center, where it will be possible to train them in conferences , courses and workshops provided by professionals from all around the world who will share their knowledge.

 

1. To increase school attendance, creating a scholarship program for our young students and future university students.

 

1. To establish an action plan to tackle the health problems of the population with the participation of our organization, private companies, the government, foreign citizens and populations close to our town. "

 

1. To develop construction projects in all the above-mentioned domains, - spiritual, cultural, family-based and environmental - such as the construction of churches, schools, housing for families with scarce resources and refurbishment of other houses, graveyards, recreation parks, access routes, etc.

 

1. To create employment opportunities within our community through the construction, refurbishment and restoration of the various above-mentioned projects, the work for some of which is already underway.

 

1. To raise awareness in natural conservation and the recovery of all our beautiful areas for the development of future tourism projects, thus achieving more income for the integral development of our community.
